Pablo Matías Becerra

ZINNETANGO is a chamber group formed in the spring of 2021 in Brussels. This international quartet is made up of top musicians from Argentina, Belgium and Estonia. A shared passion for tango tradition reflects both the enthusiasm and picardy of the “guardia vieja” and the melancholy of the “guardia nueva”.

 

Our repertoire includes works by Pugliese, Gobbi, Salgán, Piazzolla, Spinetta, Jacques Brel and many others. As representatives of a new generation of Argentinian-European tango, the ensemble puts forward its vision of world music through original arrangements and compositions.

 

Zinnetango aspires to bring classical and popular programs together by spreading tango both in concert halls and dance clubs. The group debuted at its highest level in September 2021 with a Baltic tour with living tango legend Omar Mollo. The following year we were invited to perform at the Baku Jazz Festival (AZ) and at the United Music of Brussels (BE). We play regularly at different venues around Brussels, Antwerp and Paris.
